The spring has finally arrived in Michigan. Took awhile, with late snow in March, it had many of us worrying that it would never come. But spring has finally arrived and for many motorcycle owners, it is a great time to get out and ride! Early spring can be beautiful in Michigan, and a great time to enjoy some fun events.
When USA Powersports started all those years ago, we were primarily located in Michigan. Since such time, our network has expanded to cover most of the United States. Well, unfortunately, that dirty little groundhog in Pennsylvania told us there will be six more weeks of winter. Not much of a shocker there has it ever predicted otherwise? Why is it a groundhog? Couldn’t it be a squirrel or a raccoon? Regardless of the animal winter is here to stay for a couple months anyways.
We often get asked what exactly we will buy? Well, the easy answer is just about everything. At USA Powersports, we buy used motorcycles, watercraft, ATVs, snowmobiles and even trailers. What we look for in a vehicle is that it is newer than 2000 and that it is in good shape.

Winter is almost here in Eastern Michigan, and it’s time to start thinking about getting the old motorcycle into storage. If you’ve never winterized a motorcycle the task can be overwhelming. You might be asking yourself “How do I winterize my motorcycle, and where do I start?”
Well, the first place to start is by cleaning and detailing your bike. You’ll need soap, degreaser, bug and tar remover, metal polish, brushes of all sizes, micro fiber rags, and other cleaning materials. Make sure your bike is cooled down, the last thing you want to do is spray cold water on a hot engine.
